The gallery Maison Dauphine... a nice story.

In 2007 Veronique Kadri creates in Aix-en-Provence her business of « pleasurable rental apartments », in a house of Quartier Mazarin. This house needs a name, she calls it Dolphine. House : first to pay homage to the very close Four Dolphins fountain, but also by a hierarchical coquetry. Actually the house is surrounded by a lot of Hotel Particuliers, and if it isn’t as noble as its princely neighbors, it is a dolphin worthy of them : it features beautiful parquet floors and tommettes, mouldings, marble fire-places, vaults in the basement...
The ground floor of this nice “maison bourgeoise” becomes Véronique's office, and very soon she decides to request some photographers and painters to come and propel the place. Naturally she begins to organize “one-off and up-ward exhibitions” as she says. The office is opened on the summer months and presents some young artists. Encouragements and congratulations from the visitors trigger the urge to continue.
In December 2009 she renews the place, puts some new lights... the gallery is born.
The Gallery Maison Dauphine in Aix-en-Provence, presents contemporary artists, with a total freedom in its choice. The gallery offers you to discover confirmed artists but also supports young emerging artists : painters, sculptors, and photographers present original works of art, always sold with a certificate of authenticity.
