As part of a report on the island of Porquerolles, off the coast of Hyères, José Nicolas took a look at life on this privileged spot.

When the last ferry has left the port, the island is depopulated and finds its own rhythm and peace. By its subject, the peace that emanates from it, but also thanks to the quality of the silver print, this photo seems out of time, a golden age, where happiness is simply in the present moment.
