The Jourdan Park in Aix-en-Provence is an emblematic public garden. It is where students from neighbouring universities meet at the first ray of sunshine, and where most of the city’s large-scale events take place.
Amandine Maria’s drawing, poetic and very meticulous, integrates handwritten annotations that plunge us into the atmosphere of the place: “discussion on the way back from college” or “reading on a bench”. A drawing that invites you to stroll around.
