“Maïre Island” is a delicate drawing by Amandine Maria. It presents this spectacular island south of the bay of Marseille.

Amandine Maria adds textual comments that energize the drawing, like a travel journal. “the smell of the Sainte Baume”, “towards Cassis by there”, “the sound of the motor boat”…

In “Maïre island”, the marriage of drawing, painting and writing, the association of ink and watercolor, result in a small jewel of luminous painting that we chose to present in an oak rod.
