“Porquerolles Cove” is a contemporary black and white photograph by José Nicolas. It is a silver print in a limited edition of 30 copies.

As part of a report on the island of Porquerolles, off the coast of Hyères, José Nicolas took a look at life on this privileged spot.

In Porquerolles, if you look hard enough, you can discover small coves where you can isolate yourself, nature and the sea just for you… José Nicolas’ report captures the atmosphere of the place beautifully.

By its subject, the peace that emanates from it, but also thanks to the quality of the silver print, this photo seems out of time, a golden age, where happiness is simply in the present moment.
