“Porquerolles Silver Beach” is a contemporary black and white photograph by José Nicolas. It is a silver print in a limited edition of 30 copies.

As part of a report on the island of Porquerolles, off the coast of Hyères, José Nicolas took a look at life on this privileged spot.

In Porquerolles, the beach has to be earned. After the boat trip and a good walk you will discover the Plage d’Argent, a wild beach in the middle of the pine trees.

By its subject, the peace that emanates from it, but also thanks to the quality of the silver print, this photo seems out of time, a golden age, where happiness is simply in the present moment.
