“Rituals” is a contemporary painting of small format on wood board by Perrine Rabouin. A work with oil paint that integrates touches of pastel for a warm rendering.

Perrine Rabouin returns to figurative painting from 2020: cups, bowls, pots with very free contours. The artist seeks the volume, the texture, the good-naturedness of these everyday objects that evoke authenticity and tradition.

We like these declensions of colours, these assemblies of greens, blues, greys and browns very soothing. We can already imagine them in your kitchen with a bunch of eucalyptus leaves.

To enhance this work on wood, the best option seems to us to be a floater frame in raw oak, but “Rituals” will be just as interesting just placed against a wall.
