“Souvenir of Cézanne” is a still life by Cécile Colombo.

In the many cookery books she has illustrated, Cécile Colombo integrates bright and invigorating compositions: fruit, flowers, insects and fish enliven a space with their Provençal colours: these greens, reds and ochres are an echo of the still lifes Cézanne painted at the beginning of his career. This small painting contains elements dear to the visual language of the great painter from Aix-en-Provence: apples, oranges and earthenware pitcher.
