Water is an inexhaustible source of creativity in the art of Muriel Despiau. Each drop, each moment, each light and each support makes it a unique and singular artistic subject. The emphasis on the infinitely small, the happy accident created between all the elements, offer a creation often on the border of abstraction and figuration, full of mystery and beauty.

“The Kintia Panki” can make one think of a reassuring night landscape, lit by an ovoid star. Muriel Despiau’s macro photographic work reveals a magical and spiritual world. Moreover, the names she gives to her photos are often an invitation to travel…
