A HOUSE OF VALUES

I founded this company and its two activities without really knowing anything about the hotel and commercial business. However, solid experience in other fields, great encounters and, above all, the support of my family, have enabled me to overcome obstacles and to rise above the failures that have occurred : an entrepreneurial adventure is far from being a smooth ride.

I wanted this company to reflect who I am, to speak of my convictions and the universal values that many entrepreneurs support: human beings first, but also the local economy and ecology.

Today, the positive feedback from clients reminds me every day that nothing matters more than building in harmony with oneself.

ART HOUSE

Art is everywhere at the Maison Dauphine, it is the common thread of this unique universe.

Starting with the contemporary art gallery on the ground floor of the house, which forms an original reception lobby.

At the same time, the gallery invites itself into the other spaces, which are also decorated with works by our artists or from our personal collection.

Painting, photography, drawing, sculpture and other art forms decorate the space, welcome to a collector’s house.

HOUSE OF SOUL

The Maison Dauphine has had several lives.

In the 17th century, this house was home to the family of a master craftsman gipier (In Provence, gipiers are artists who made gypseries, moulded and sculpted interior decorations in gypsum, typical of the local noble architecture from the Middle Ages to the 19th century).

In the 1960s, this building housed an American university programme and accommodated students from Wisconsin and Michigan.

In 2006, your hostess decided to transform the house to offer you 3 charming guest flats and a contemporary art gallery, she put all her soul into it…
